War No. 4 Erupts In Middle East 10/07/1973

The Yom Kippur War was fought October 6 to October 26, 1973 by a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria against Israel. The peace process which followed eventually resulted with Egypt, in 1979, being the first Arab country to recognize the Jewish State of Israel.
