President Taft Death 03/09/1930

President William Howard Taft is the only person to have held the two highest offices in American government. That of President of the United States and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. As a former Secretary of War and Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy President Taft was the first, and only one of two presidents, to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
