John D. Rockefeller Dead    05/24/1937

An icon of American capitalism. The founder of Standard Oil, (Exxon/Mobile
is its largest descendant) he built Standard Oil into the largest company in
the world.  Though accused of being a monopolist he eventually gave away
about half his wealth.
